IAPMO IGC 346 is a draft of a test standard that will define a set of rules for how to test drain water heat recovery systems so that the performance and pressure loss of all systems can be measured in the same way. It is a similar test to CSA B55.1, using the same set of rules, except allowing for testing at different slopes. CSA B55.1 is limited to tests of vertical drain water heat recovery systems only.
