Effective January 1st, 2017, Drain Water Heat Recovery is Mandatory in all Ontario Building Code SB-12 Prescriptive Paths. To meet the mandatory requirement, systems must have a minimum rated efficiency of 42% when tested according to CSA B55.1 and must also comply with CSA B55.2 for safety and quality.
